JRC Extreme Recliner Chair

For the start of 2013, I treated myself to this luxury carp chair from JRC.

I wanted a chair that could be fully adjusted to any angle, mostly in a bid to ease my long-suffering back pain, but also, I wanted a chair that could be opened fully, similar to a bed chair, so that I could grab some shut-eye over those short, night-sessions under a brolly.

A god-send on those short trips where the bivvy and bed chair routine are too much.

The new "cam-lock" system

The Extreme Recliner Chair fits the bill perfectly. The first thing to notice is the unique cam-lock system that allows quick and easy adjustment to the seat angle. This ranges from the upright position to completely horizontal, and yet still remains stable. The incorporated mud-feet help to provide this stability over soft ground.

Mud-feet and comfortable support

The padding is thick and comfortable, with both the seat and the back-rest “sprung” for added comfort and support. This seat is built of the highest standards, and will easily facilitate any larger framed anglers. All four legs are height-adjustable, and there is also a pair of zip-out tackle organisers, located on each side of the seat, handy for storing small tackle items such as hooks, forceps, phone etc.

The Extreme Recliner is an excellent addition, and the added bonus is that with the new-spec materials used, it is also super-light weight. I have been using this particular chair for four months now, and have no complaints whatsoever, a great piece of kit!
